Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 22 August 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to QualsWallet ("we", "our", "us"), operated by Site Skills Passport Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the QualsWallet web application and related services ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Site Skills Passport Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17023365, registered office 11 Kingsley Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 3TJ. Our registered email address is support@qualswallet.co.uk.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. Business accounts must be registered by an authorised representative of the company. During sign-up you will be asked to confirm you meet this age requirement. By registering, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. App Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use QualsWallet solely for your own personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Platform
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to build a competing product or service
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, branding or logos

All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including the software, design, branding, logo, and content — remain the exclusive property of Site Skills Passport Ltd. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

We reserve the right to revoke this licence and suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Keep your information up to date
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not create multiple accounts
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your account credentials secure.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload false or misleading information about your qualifications, credentials, or work history
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users
  • Use automated systems, bots or scrapers to access the service
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringes third party rights
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or terminate accounts accordingly.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Required

Access to QualsWallet requires an active paid subscription. There is no free tier and no free trial — payment is required at signup to access the Platform, except for the public Demo mode, which requires no account and no payment.

Subscription Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly (or per the interval shown at checkout) and renew automatically until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then, with no further charges afterward. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.

Refunds

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period, with no further charges afterward. We are currently confirming how the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to new subscriptions — UK consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel a service bought online and receive a refund, which may apply to your first payment depending on specific conditions. Until this is confirmed, if you wish to cancel within 14 days of your first payment, please contact us at support@qualswallet.co.uk and we will address your request individually. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

7. Content & Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform, including qualifications, certificates, work history, and profile information. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you (and, where you choose to share it — via your public profile or a verification request — to whoever you share it with). This licence ends when you delete your account.

We will not sell your data to third parties or use your content for any purpose other than providing the service.

8. Employment Verification

The Platform allows you to request confirmation of your work history from a named employer. We do not independently verify the identity of the person responding on the employer's behalf, or the accuracy of the information they submit. Verification badges reflect that someone responded via the secure link sent — they are not a guarantee of accuracy and should not be treated as equivalent to an official reference check. You are responsible for the accuracy of the employer contact details you provide.

9. Jobs Board

Employers posting jobs confirm that listings are genuine, lawful, and accurately described. We may remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law. Workers applying to jobs consent to relevant profile information being shared with the employer whose job they apply to. We are not a party to any employment relationship formed using the jobs board, and we're not responsible for the conduct of either party or hiring decisions made.

10. Public Profile Sharing

When you enable and share your public profile link, you are choosing to make that information visible to anyone with the link, without a login requirement. You can disable this at any time through your account settings. We are not responsible for how third parties use information you have chosen to share with them.

11. Limitation of Liability

QualsWallet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Decisions made by employers, workers, or third parties based on information stored in or shared via the Platform
  • The accuracy of qualifications, work history, or verification responses entered or provided by users or third parties

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about the service, please contact us in the first instance at support@qualswallet.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may seek independent resolution through:

  • Citizens Advice — citizensadvice.org.uk
  • The courts of England and Wales

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Platform — including but not limited to the QualsWallet name, logo, branding, software, design, and written content — is owned by or licensed to Site Skills Passport Ltd. You may not use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at support@qualswallet.co.uk.

14. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy within 30 days.

15. Third Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third party services. Your use of third party services is at your own risk.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the revised terms, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
